SMCC Offers Entrepreneurship Certificate for Small Business Owners

Have you always dreamed of owning and operating your own small business---and being your own boss?

South Mountain Community College in Laveen has the classes you need to succeed, in our 11-credit hour Entrepreneurship Certificate program.

Classes start on September 23.  Classes run from two to three weeks each, and are offered concurrently, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

  • SBS 204: Small Business Marketing and Advertising
    Oct. 28 – Nov. 13, Tues & Thurs, 6-10 PM

  • SBS 200: Small Business Operations
    Dec. 2  - 18, Tues & Thurs, 6-10 PM

  • SBS 213: Hiring and Managing Employees
    Jan. 20 - 29,  Tues & Thurs, 6-9:30 PM

  • SBS 220: Internet Marketing for Small Business
    Feb. 3 – 19, Tues & Thurs, 6-10 PM

  • SBS 298:  Special Projects/Business Portfolios
    Feb. 24 – Mar. 12, Tues & Thurs, 6-9:30 PM

Entrepreneurship Certificate programs are taught at the SMCC Laveen Center, based at Betty Fairfax High School, 8225 S. 59th Avenue in Laveen.
